A Prayer to God

A word,

A tear,

A cry,

Is lifted up into the sky.

A prayer for someone never known is presented up before the throne.

God hears our prayers,

He hears our cries,

He sees the tears in our sparkling eyes.

He may not answer that very day,

But he’ll answer in his own special way.

“Be encouraged Saints,” says the Lord.

“I’ll close a window, but open a door.”

It may be in a year, it’s true.

But God will always answer you!

Whatever the place, whatever the hour,

God will show his grace and power.
